비야게레로. Tacos the way it’s made in Mexico. The owner-chef, 이정수, studied how to make tacos in Mexico. It’s delicious. This place, along with El Pino 323 and B’Mucho, are mentioned as the top 3 Mexican eateries in Seoul. He offers up classic Mexican taco fillings such as pork skin and tongue.

Ordered 4 tacos – (1) Maciza – Pork shoulder (2) Cuerito – Pork Skin (3) Mixto – Combo and (4) Chorizo. The owner gave me specific instructions to eat the chorizo taco last given its sauce After the 4 tacos, I ordered another one – Mixto with Lengua (tongue). I wasn’t brave enough to order a Lengua only taco and eat it straight on.

I thought the tacos were excellent. Just wished that they had other stuff on the menu like nachos to accompany the tacos. Additionally, it would have also been nice if they offered guacamole or slices of avocado to accompany the tacos.

I did ask for extra salsa on the side and it was not your standard pico de gallo. It was a dark salsa that had a kick to it. I want to say that it had a chipotle pepper taste to it. Loved how they gave you a slice of lime with each taco.

The chorizo
The chorizo taco. It was recommended by the owner-chef to eat this last as it has a “heavy” sauce that may make the other pork meat tacos taste …. have no taste?
The pork skin taco. Delicious!
The Mixto taco – Combination of pork shoulder, stomach and pork skin.
The Maciza taco – pork shoulder meat taco
