SFP found its No.1 Indian restaurant in Seoul – The ‘Taj’ – Wah Taj! (meaning WOW Taj)
Before getting into the delicacies, let me make one thing clear – everything comes for a price, Taj positioned theirs at a price point which is on par with Lucky India, Utsav – taste is what differentiates it from the rest. Ambience matches what comes next – Authentic, Indian!
We were impressed with the array of Indian liquor on the menu (before you ask – yes – Sula is also on the wine list 😉 )
Now to the main topic – food, on the table.
We ordered: Masala Papad, Tandoori Chicken, Afghani Chicken, naan breads, mutton korma, chicken kadahi, jeera rice and dal fry. They serve green chutney, pickled onions, green chilies by the sides.
Food was super tasty, out of the world not too spicy as madness hot: but yes every spice explodes in your mouth as you start delighting the feast, it’s a treat, definitely the most tastiest Indian dishes we have tasted in Seoul – as you start eating, you can but only appreciate the fact that ones serving food are completely aware of when and what to serve you don’t get your entire order brought to the table at once! They bring items to the table at the right moment, just when you need it any more importantly piping hot and yummy!
Must go if you want to taste true Indian food, for real – not cooked by a Nepali or another neighboring national.
Writing review anything more than this would be an insult to Taj, for anything more – visit them! It’s a must try.
