림가기 is a Hong Kong restaurant that sells HK roasted duck, steamed vermicelli rolls and various types of noodle soups. It is located near Hongdae. It has been open for over a year but recently it was highlighted on the Olive TV show called 여기Go (Let’s Go Here) that aired on Episode #14 – August 14, 2018. SEE LINK HERE.
Everything here is delicious. Everyone who comes here orders the HK roasted duck and steamed noodle rolls but the 여기Go TV show highlighted them for their noodles in particular their spicy Sichuan ma la noodle soup ranking it #2 out of five restaurants highlighted on the show.
They prepare your HK roasted duck a little different than what you may be expecting – i.e., the Peking duck style with tortilla wraps, scallions, etc. Here the duck is roasted and chopped up into bits. You eat it with the salad and dip in the sauces.
This place is an absolute recommend. You know it’s good when a lot of Chinese speaking customers come here. Cheap too.
