오구반점 located right off Exit 2 of Euljiro 3-Ga station. Korean-Chinese restaurant that’s been around since 1953. I am presuming it’s an institution.
They are famous for one dish – the fried dumplings. You search on Naver blog posts and you see the fried dumplings shown first on most of the pages.
오구 stands for the numbers five (5) and nine (9). That is the address for the restaurant – 을지로3가 5-9. That is part of the owner’s name. And it’s also the name of the restaurant.
The dumplings were great of course. I went in during for lunch during the weekday and a steady group of office works starting cramming with people waiting outside.
