낙원양꼬치 – Nackwon Lamb Skewers. This Chinese restaurant is one of two in my authentic Chinese cuisine dining rotation. The other one being 하얼빈 가정식 – Harbin in Seolleung Station (Gangnam). Nackwon is a 25 minute subway ride from my home – i.e., the travel time to come here is worth it. The food is so cheap and delicious. The food here is authentic Chinese. I am not a fan (AT ALL) of the Korean-Chinese style. I prefer the more flavorful and spicy Sichuan cuisine. All of the staff that work here are Korean-Chinese with Chinese being their first language.We’ve tried and enjoyed the following dishes:

1️⃣ Combination of fresh lamb ribs (양갈비) + mala spicy lamb ribs (마라양갈비)
2️⃣ 오이라피 – Flat glass noodles + cucumbers + cilantro + sichuan peppercorns. We asked for normal spicy. Definitely recommend this dish. ❤️cilantro – 고수
3️⃣ 마라소양훠궈 – Mala Cow Intestine Hot Pot.
4️⃣ Ma La Xiang Guo (Spicy Numbing Stir-fry Pot)
5️⃣ Soft tofu in spicy sauce
6️⃣ Cilantro salad
7️⃣ Cream shrimp
8️⃣ Spicy fried chicken with bones
9️⃣ 옥수수국수 – Corn noodle soup. Different soup base than other Chinese lamb skewer places.

Located off of Exit 2 in Shindaebang (Line 2) 🚇 Nackwon specializes in lamb skewers, Chinese hot pot – 훠궈 or 사천샤브샤브 (Sichuan shabu shabu) in addition to other Chinese dishes. The menu is extensive.
