미야비 (Hapjeong) – A new izakaya at Hapjeong Station that opened in December 2018. The owner-chef has 10 years of working experience in the kitchens of Shilla Hotel. His father is a contractor so the father built the interior according to the owner-chef’s specs. It’s quite nice especially the wide marble bar countertop. If you only have 2-3 people, then I suggest you sit at the counter to enjoy the nice countertop as well as watch the chef prepare the meals.

This is a very nice izakaya. Good food and reasonable prices.

When you get sukiyaki, you’ve got to get the egg to eat with the meat and veggies.
Definitely recommend. Very hearty dish. Especially good to eat during the cold winter months.

Dried persimmon (곶감) stuffed with mascarpone (마스카포네) cheese. It’s NOT on the menu. It was given to us as service. OMG! If you go there, YOU MUST ASK FOR THIS!
NOTE – If you want to order the Chef’s Omakase Menu course meal, it has to be reserved 2 days in advance.
NOTE: Have to order one of the main dishes before you can order a Side Menu dish.
