갓포아키 서래마을점 – Kappo Akii Seorae French Village Branch
Kappo Ali’s newest (and 4th) branch in Seoul. Love Kappo Akii. Every branch has the same menu and is prepared consistently with deliciousness . While the interior of every branch looks the same, this one is slightly different. Instead of marble countertop at the sushi bar, this one has lighted frosted glass. Instead of all rectangular tables, there are circular tables.
As always, we ordered the geumtae grilled fish – in fact, we ordered two of them since we were a party of 6. This location has several menu items form their other Izakaya – 보양식당 – in Cheongdam that recently closed down. New seasonal items – fresh oysters in champagne sauce? – were fresh and fabulous. One cannot leave Kappo Akii without ordering their signature futomaki rolls.
