Highlights: The fried dumplings.
Lowlights: The not-so jazzy interior.
Bottom Line: It’s your standard Korean-Chinese fare. The fried dumplings were good.
SFP is not a big fan of Chinese-Korean restaurants. SFP would rather go to an authentic Chinese restaurant. If SFP has to go to a Chinese-Korean restaurant, he looks forward to the dumplings – boiled rather than fried. A foodie colleague of SFP’s (aka Gwanny) is a premier Chinese-Korean foodie specialist. He loves Chinese-Korean food and he recommended this place as the place to go for dumplings, the fried dumplings. Gwanny said that the fried dumplings here at Chun Ji Goong are in the Top 10 of Korean fried dumplings. The other dishes here are standard fare – nothing more and nothing less. Gwanny did suggest the brown sauce stir-fry noodle with seafood. That was a solid thumbs up.
