This bistro, located in Mangwon Dong, has been open for a little under a year. Soft opening in July 2019 and official open in September 2019. It was my first time here. Small menu but everything we ordered was delicious. The steak (Australian) was a little tough but for its price point, worth it. All of the dishes are under ₩20,000.

Found out that that this place is known for its beer and potatoes – fried and mashed. The fried potato we had with the steak was super soft. Initially, we thought it was mashed potatoes fried but it was potatoes that had been boiled and then fried. The appetizers were great. Accompanying the fried scallops was a cauliflower puree that was so good.

The head chef used to be on the cooking staff at Osteria Sam Kim in Hapjeong.

Definitely recommend. They accept reservations via Naver. It requires a pre-payment of ₩10,000 as a no-show fee. They accept reservations via phone as well. I think we will be back frequently. They said that they will be changing their menu every few months.

There is bar seating and one table that seats 4 people.

They have their own branded craft beer. It was delicious. ₩6,500.
Fried scallops -₩12,000
This is the puréed cauliflower sauce that comes with the fried scallops. It was SO delicious. I used the sauce to dip it into other stuff.
Fried calamari ₩13,000
Grilled sourdough bread – ₩2,500 for two pieces (₩1,500 for one slice)
₩27,000 – Decent price for a bottle of white wine.
Tagliatelle al Ragu – ₩17,900.
Mixed mushroom risotto – ₩16,500
Steak Frites – Steak with beer battered hand cut chips and gravy – ₩18,900
Cooked perfectly. I believe it was cooked sous vide.
These beer battered chips were AMAZING. They boil potatoes and then deep friends slices of it. It was like eating fried mashed potatoes. Amazing.
A nice bottle of Merlot – ₩34,000
Asian style tagliolini with prawn, chilli and coriander – ₩17,000. The noodles had a ramen texture. Very delicious.
Grilled chicken thigh with pumpkin puree – ₩17,900.
Red wine braised beef cheek & pomme puree – ₩17,500
I had to order another bread to eat with the leftover ragu sauce.
French Fries – ₩4,000. They call it Cavendish Cajun style chips.
